Let’s answer this question from some different perspectives.  First, your body.  YOU also beat your heart causing your blood to flow through your body.  YOU also cause you lungs to expand and contract to bring oxygen into your bloodstream and expel carbon dioxide back into the air.  And this is just a very small fraction of what YOU do to keep YOU alive and well.

 

Now the mind.  You make decisions every day about what you want.  You make plans to take you to your goals.  Everything seems fine so far.  But here is the tricky part.

 

You also procrastinate.  You forget.  You go into debt.  You get afraid.  You do things you don’t want to or shouldn’t do.  You don’t do the things you know you should do.  Even when you are aware of how you sabotage yourself, you can’t seem to overcome it.  What is going on here?

 

Your subconscious mind.

 

How the Millionaire Mind Program Can Help

You are a young teenager – maybe a college student.  You are having a hard time making ends meet.  You drive around an old clunker of a car.  You are only able to put a few dollars of gas into the car at any one time.  You are always having to think about where you want to go, how much gas is in the tank, and if it is enough to get you there.  Now, you get a raise at work or a cash gift from Grandma.  You are able to go the gas station now and FILL UP the gas tank.  Not just a quarter of a tank but a FULL tank of gas.  So FULL that the gas gauge actually moves past F on the dial.  As you get in the car and drive off, the feeling is sweet.  For the moment, you don't have to think about it.  You get that warm cozy feeling of relief because there is nothing like a FULL tank of gas.

 

I know that as you are reading this, you are probably not experiencing this particular set of circumstances.  But think about what that teenager is feeling driving away from the gas station. 

 

Isn’t that the feeling you want?

 

If this example seems a little mundane to you, consider another scenario.

 

You have a job.  You have a home and probably a family to support.  Everything seems fine on the surface.  You are able to provide for the basics – food, clothing, and shelter.  You and your family are able to take the occasional vacation although sometimes it has to be visiting family because the budget is a little tight at times.  You can splurge a little at times, go to the movies or go out to eat occasionally.  You have some credit cards without much room on them because there is always the occasional emergency or big ticket item to deal with.  Not to mention Christmas or other holidays.  But you are a hard worker, the company is doing well, and you get a big bonus.  Big enough to catch up on ALL your bills, payoff one or more of your credit card balances, and take your family on a real vacation.  The feeling is wonderful.   That sigh of relief is heavenly.

 

Think about what you would feel if given a similar small windfall of money and you paid all your bills and did something fun.  Not a care in the world.  No worries for the moment.  You can really relax at the end of your day and get up in the morning feeling wonderful.

 

These examples just point out how the feeling of abundance can be experienced in everyday life.  But let's go beyond these baby steps.
